Our distributor login was a walking phishing example. See the redesign that refreshed our external login to match current day branding and modern elements.

Research Stage

Based on focus groups and stakeholder meetings, we knew the requirements for multiple sprints. We were waiting on security and marketing details.

Key Findings:

  • Current design didn’t require user input data

  • Privacy statements were missing from the current design

Align with Business

Working together with cybersecurity and marketing - we gathered all the necessary content to include as well as redesign existing distributor data. The goal was to reflect the content so refresh was obvious but the content was easily identifiable from its previous design.

  • DSUs per related group

  • 2 week design sprint (self led)

  • Stakeholder feedback sessions

  • Interviews (1:1 meetings) with SMEs or Stakeholder(s) for each user group

Outcomes

Solution:

  • Increase Distributor partner usability in login

  • Decreased Distributor partner concern over phishing or unsafe credentials

  • Design reflected refreshed branding

Results:

  • 1 login with flow states

  • Stakeholder buy-in

  • 100% Distributor approval
